Grand-Ecarts

Grand-Ecarts means splits in French. I wanted to show in the sculpture how the mind and the body converge with the same will to the highest control of the body and its performance.
I chose to represent the dancer as if resting on her arms when her legs are stretched to their maximum so that the couple mind/body be strongly emphasized.
